Gorton’s Artisan Fillets {review}

My family and & love fish and seafood. Not only is fish low in fat and high in protein, it’s rich in calcium, vitamins and omega-3’s. When Gorton’s asked us to review their new artisan fillets, we gladly accepted their offer that came with free products for us to try.

One of the ones that we tried was Roasted Garlic & Italian Herbs. It comes with five, wild caught Alaskan pollock fillets. We only buy wild caught fish and seafood so this was a definite plus for us!

The breading is made with Italian breadcrumbs, and each fillet is only 160 calories. Artisan Fillets contain no fillers, MSG, artificial coloring or flavoring.

Besides the Roasted Garlic & Italian Herb, there are three other delicious flavors for you to try; Southern Style, Lemom & Cracked Peppercorn and Southwest Tortilla. Keep reading to find out how you can try them for free!

Pollock is a light, white fish that is very versatile. I was happy to see actual fillets used, and not minced fish. The Pollock was very tasty and the breading was a nice blend of seasonings, that went great with the fish.

    As far as frozen and pre-prepared fish goes, Gorton’s is always our go-to. Will definitely have to try this variety.

  4. We haven’t had that in a long time! I need to stop and pick some up! We love fish and chips!

  5. When I was a kid, I couldn’t stand fish. I’d eat lobster, crab, shrimp, or scallops, but if you tried to get me to eat fish, it just wouldn’t happen.

    I’m still not a huge fan, it has to be cooked just right. This looks like it could actually be right up my alley. These are definitely some choices for me to pick up and try.
