How To Make Fruity Jello Roll-Ups

Fun recipe from our friends at Discount Queens!

Fruity jello roll-ups are a fun snack that children are guaranteed to love. They’re easy to make, and the kids can help out too! This snack is sure to satisfy their sweet tooth, as well as let them “play with their food”.

Here’s what you’ll need:

1. 3 oz. package of jello, your choice of flavor.
2. 1/2 cup of water.
3. 1 1/2 cups of mini marshmallows
4. An 8 or 9″ pan.
5. Cooking spray.

You’ll also need a bowl and a whisk to mix the ingredients in. First, take the pan and cover it in cooking spray. You can spray and then spread the oil with a napkin to even it out.

Next, take your jello powder and pour it into a bowl. Mix your 1/2 cup of water in with it, and microwave the mixture for 1 minute.

Pour the mini marshmallows into the mixture, and microwave again for 30 seconds to 1 minute: until the marshmallows puff up and slightly melt, so they are easier to mix. Whisk until marshmallows are dissolved.

Pour mixture into pan. Set it to chill in the fridge for about 45 minutes.

After your jello is well set (the creamy marshmallow layer will be on top, having floated up and separated), take one end and slowly start to roll it into a tube, marshmallow side inward.

Take a knife or a string, and cut slices off of the roll to get individual jelly fuit roll-ups. Serve right away, or keep the rest chilled for a later snack! Enjoy!
