Jell-O Magic Milkshakes

My kids & I found this in a magazine a while ago and decided to give it a try. It was really good and definitely something we’d try again. It’s perfect for a hot day or when you want something fun at home. This recipe is enough for about four servings. It was for Jell-O, but you can use any brand.

Raspberry

Place 4 cups of milk, 1 package (3 oz) of Jell-O Gelatin (or any brand will do) and a half cup of softened ice cream in a large pitcher with a tight fitting lid. Cover and let the kids shake it up (shake vigorously) for about a minute, until well blended. Pour into glasses and serve immediately.

Sounds so good! Seems like a really easy way to make a shake. What flavors do you think are good to try this way?

Sally – we used strawberry but the picture in the magazine where we got the idea was a really nice shade of blue!! I haven’t figured out what flavor that was yet. :-)
