With all the information available on what’s in our food and how it’s being processed, it’s no wonder more and more families are looking for healthier alternatives. The way our food is grown and what’s being put in it has dramatically changed in the last 50 years – and it’s changed for the worst.
But there is hope, and there are companies that are making a difference. By doing a little research and being willing to try new products, you will find foods that are healthy and delicious for you and your family.
Our homeschool group recently sampled several flavors of rice chips by Lundberg Family Farms.
Lundberg Rice Chips are non-GMO, gluten-free, made with certified organic brown rice and have 26g of whole grains per bag. We sampled Sante Fe Barbecue, Fiesta Lime and Sea Salt.
As you can see from the photos below, both the younger kids and the older teens enjoyed them. The favorite of the day was Sante Fe Barbecue, with the Sea Salt being a close second.
The chips were crunchy and had a lot of flavor. If you thought “good for you” means having to give up taste, you need to try these. The small bags are great for on-the-go snacks. I personally enjoyed the Sea Salt the best and my kids loved the Santa Fe Barbecue.
